Happy 50^th Anniversary, Doctor Who!

¡Felices 50 añitos, Doctor Who!

Yes, you know I love the show and I’m so excited because I’m going to watch the special at the movies in a room full of Whovians! I hope they don’t mind my screaming and crying over Ten and Rose. Of course I had to do something on my nails to celebrate. I wanted galaxy nails, so I followed this tutorial by The Nailasaurus but I chose my own colors. The result is not very galaxy-ish. I don’t know what it is, honestly, but I like it.

Sí, como saben, me encanta la serie ¡y estoy re emocionada porque voy a ver el especial en el cine, en una sala llena de Whovians! Espero que no les molesten mis gritos y llantos por Ten y Rose. Obvio que tenía que hacerme algo en las uñas para celebrarlo. Quería hacerme unas galaxias, así que seguí el tutorial de The Nailasaurus pero elegí mis propios colores. El resultado no es como debería. La verdad, no sé qué es, pero me gusta.

I started with my Barielle base coat, one coat of A England Galahad and let it dry completely. Then I sponged with these polishes: Julep Maggie (this is one of the polishes I won from the Flight of Whimsy’s giveaway! Thank you so much, Eva!), China Glaze Dorothy Who?, Kiko 335 Ink Blue and Extreme by Farmacity California (which I have no memories of buying, it just appeared in my purse). After that, I did some dots with Kiko 203 White for Tips and applied one coat of Avon 01 Fashion con Glitter. I finished with my Barielle top coat, but I wasn’t sure about the shiny finish, so today I applied a coat of China Glaze Matte Magic and I love it!

Empecé con la base de Barielle, una capa de Galahad de A England y lo dejé secar completamente. Después esponjé con estos esmaltes: Maggie de Julep (¡es uno de los que me gané en el concurso de Flight of Whimsy! ¡Muchas gracias, Eva!), Dorothy Who? de China Glaze, Ink Blue 335 de Kiko y California de Extreme by Farmacity (el cual no me acuerdo de haber comprado, nomás apareció en una cartera). Después de eso, hice algunos puntitos con White for Tips 203 de Kiko y apliqué una capa de 01 Fashion con Glitter de Avon. Terminé todo con el top coat de Barielle, pero no me convencía el acabado brillante, así que hoy le agregué una capa de Matte Magic de China Glaze, ¡y me encanta!
